Addis Ababa, 17 March 2016 - Today marks the final day of the Wharton Club of Africa’s 2016 Executive Investment Summit & CEO Forum in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia.
The Summit welcomed Africa's leading international and regional investors, executive "game-changers", industry titans, public sector leaders, and entrepreneurs at this unique, high value-add Pan-African “Executive” Investment Summit - moving beyond panels of trends and opportunities - to more effective direct executive and investor engagement (across Africa regions, sectors, investment capital sources), with contributors challenged to deliver critical executive business intelligence (i.e. the “money points”) to peer audience of seasoned executives with respect to closing investments, managing operations, and optimising operational value and financial returns in 2016 and beyond.
KDHI’s founder was invited as a speaker on the Entrepreneurial Leadership and Impact Investing panel alongside the following leaders on the continent:
Matt Davis - Founder & Partner, Renew LLC (Fund Manager, Impact Angel Network)
Henok Assefa - Managing Partner, Precise Consult & Investments
Tat-send Chiam - Director of Investments, Global Innovation Fund
Caleb Meakins - CEO, Ethiopian Entrepreneurs Association
Kavaneet Dhami - Founder and CEO, KDHI
Our agenda was to promote social impact investments and our firm was successful in serving as an expert in the industry to provide insights to our development partners while guiding them through the most efficient strategies of execution.
The conference takes place at a time when key shifts are taking place on the continent and with global leaders coming together for constructive discussions, there are bound to be new developments on the continent as a result of Wharton Club of Africa’s platform.
